Firstsites Young Art Kommunity have been taking part in a series of VJ Workshops, led by digital artist Liam Roberts. The first set of sessions were working towards a VJ performance at the 2015 Norwich Gaming Festival. Where they utilized video games and live digital drawing, to create a glitchy 8-bit video game aesthetic, which they were able to interact with and manipulate in real time.

At the festival they collaborated with chiptune audio artists – Tristan Burfield, Unix and David Cronin.

Following on from these sessions, they will continue to develop their skills and work towards another performance piece ready for the end of June 2015.
